- Prepared machines, equipment & manpower budget.
- Assist line supervisors for line setting and line balancing.
- Work with Planning & production team to set proper target plan.
- Help HR department by providing operator performance level to recruit & reward.
- Prepare Efficiency, DFR, NPT & Performance reports and show management team on daily basis.
- set up sop for new tasks & the new process as well.
If there is limited IE team member then only involves for routine jobs like making operation bulletin, line layout, thread consumption etc.
Conclusion:
IE department is adding a lot of values to the company. Without having the Industrial Engineering team one would not know how things are going on the shop floor, what corrective measures need to take on time, effective utilization of manpower and machines.
