How to Calculate Individual Target & Line Target?

 Already we learn how to Calculate SMV from earlier post. Today we will know the using of SMV.

SMV Formula= Basic time + Allowance

If an operation SMV is .75 means to complete that task by this time.

We can get total garments SMV by sum of each operational SMV. If a garments total SMV is 12 min means from first machine to output , we will get a complete garments by 12 min.

To calculate individual operator target hourly & daily we must need that operational SMV. After having operation SMV, we can calculate his / her hourly target.

Target = (60/SMV )*Efficiency %

This way we will get each operation target hourly by considering each operation separately.

If you want to find total target in a day,

Target = (M.P*W.H*60/SMV)*Efficiency %

Here, W.H = Total working hour he/she will perform

& M.P = No of Manpower.

For example:  SMV of an operation is 0.75, No of operator 1, Total working hour 10 & targeted efficiency 85%, then calculate target =?

Target = (1*10*60/.75)*85%

=800*85%

 =680 pcs

By this equation we can calculate total day target of a particular line/module. For example, SMV of a garments is 12, No of operator 22, Total working hour 10 & required efficiency 85%, then calculate target =?

So Target = (M.P*W.H*60/SMV)*Efficiency %

 =(22*10*60/12)*85%

 =(13200/12)*85%

=1100*85%

=935 pcs.

If we want to calculate target at 100% efficiency then put 100% instead of 85%.
