How to calculate SAH? Use of SAH.

SAH stand for Standard Allocated Hour or Standard Earned Hour.

SAH = (Total Produce Qty*SMV) ÷60

Here multiplied by 60 to convert minute to hour.

That means how many hours produced in a day you can calculate through the equation.

•          Individual operator
•          Every line wise
•          Total factory

For example: Line A produce 1150 pcs in a day. If SMV of that garments 6.30 Then SAH =?

So SAH = (1150*6.3) ÷ 60

                =120.75 Hour

     “To compare total earned hour against the total input/available hour in a day is the main purpose.”

We can calculate efficiency using SAH.
