How to Measure DHU In A Manufacturing Unit?

To measure DHU of any process/checkpoint, following information need those are recorded by quality checker.
  • Total number of defects
  • Total check quantity
Now we can calculate DHU by using following equation.
DHU = (Total defects found in a day * 100)/ Total inspected pieces

For example: A quality checker has checked 800 pcs sweater / garments in a day. He /she has found 135 pcs defects from 70 defective garments in a day , then what is the DHU of that process?

So DHU = (135*100)/800
