Production Per Day = No of Machines X Produce qty by Operator per Hour X Total Working Hour
From the above equation we can say- 3 factors are directly involve for the production. Here if one factors is increase then total production will be increase. Those are -
- No of Machines / Manpower
- Unit produce by Operator per Hour
- Working Hour in a Day
Production Quantity = 260 X 4.5 X 10
= 11700 Pieces per day.
Now we will see how to increase production by improving those 3 factors.
1st Factor: No of Machines / Manpower
By adding some machines with the present capacity then daily production will be increase.
For example if machine quantity increased from 260 to 286 then total production will be,
Production Quantity = 286 X 4.5 X 10
= 12870 Pieces per day.

2nd Factor: Unit produce by Operator per Hour
By improving operators production capacity / productivity, daily garments production can be increase.
For example if operators production capacity increased from 4.5 to 5 pieces per hour then total production will be,
Production Quantity = 260 X 5 X 10
= 13000 Pieces per day.

3rd Factor: Shift Working Hour
Daily garments production can be increased by increasing total working hours daily.
For example total shift will work 11 hours instead of 10 hours then total production will be,
Production Quantity = 260 X 4.5 X 11
= 12870 Pieces per day.
Total 1170 Pieces production increased than earlier by increasing 1 hour Overtime here.
